Child Swim Lessons & Aquatics

Our outdoor Leisure Pool is a free-form shaped pool designed with a zero-depth entry. It’s the perfect place for your kids to learn how to swim and enjoy their summer break. It’s also a great place to lounge and socialize with other members. The leisure pool is for adults and children 13 years of age and younger who are on a club membership.

Leisure Pool Hours
First Day: Memorial Day Weekend
Open Daily: 9:30am – 7:30pm
Last Day: September 30th

*Occasionally the pool has to be closed due to weather or incident. We will post “CLOSED” on our website or at the front desk.

Group Swim Lesson

You may register by paper or on-line for group swim lessons at the beginning of each season. Paper Registration will begin on April 1st and online registration will begin April 15th. Once you enroll your child(ren) in membership, you will be sent detailed instructions on how to enroll your child(ren) in swim lessons.

Please note the following information: Your child(ren’s) name as well as your name and membership number will be required at the time of registration (This will be included in your email).

The group swim lesson fee will be charged to the parent’s membership account upon registration for each class session. After the initial registration, a 50% credit will be applied to the membership account if you cancel at least 8 days before the session begins. No refunds are given within 7 days of the session start date.  A $10 fee will be charged for any changes to a day or time.

Group Swim Lesson Session Dates

Please see the Paper Registration Form for group lesson options, dates, descriptions, and pricing.  This year you have three options to choose from when selecting your group swim lessons:

  1. Monday thru Thursday for 2 weeks (8 lessons)
  2. Tuesday & Thursday for 2 weeks (4 lessons)
  3. Weekend (Saturday or Sunday) for 4 weeks (4 lessons)

Please choose the session 1, 2, or 3, the day(s) of the week, Time, and Level.

You will receive a confirmation from the Aquatics office confirming enrollment for the class for which you signed up. If the class has not reached its minimum, you will then have the option to switch times or receive a credit towards a future group class.

If a class is cancelled

If a class is cancelled due to low registration rate, you will be notified (3) days in advance of the cancellation. We will make every effort to move you to another class or credit your account if we cannot accommodate you.

Make-up policy

If a class is cancelled due to instructor illness, you will be able to make up the class on another day/time when the class level is offered.

Private/Semi-Private Swim Lessons

Private and semi-private youth swim lessons are an excellent way for children ages 6 months to 15 years of age to improve confidence and swim stroke technique through personal instruction. All privates must be purchased in advance at the Kids Club or Front Desk prior to your lesson.

Rules We Strictly Enforce

  • Those children that are not potty-trained must wear swim underpants. They can be purchased at Kids Club or from a Lifeguard.
  • We do not allow kids under 14 near or around the adult lap pool or Jacuzzi.
  • We do not allow water wings
  • We do not allow glass anywhere in the Aquatic Complex.

Inclement Weather

During inclement weather, children will have use of two of the far west lanes of the indoor pool.

If the outdoor pool closes during group swim lessons, the 2 indoor lanes will be divided in half, leaving the northwest half for lessons and the southwest half for free swim. Adults will have use of the other three lap lanes.

If the outdoor pool closes during an adult aqua group exercise class, there will be no free swim for children until class is over. Children must be supervised by his/her guardian and guardian must sit on the north and south walls of the indoor pool area. All other occurrences will be decided on a case by case basis by CCAC management.
